Lecture
Hear the Creative Thinking Project’s third Creative Fellow talk about fostering co-operation, collaboration and creativity in New Zealand.
Janis Jefferies is an artist, writer and curator. She is Director of Goldsmiths Digital Studios in the UK and an expert in collaborating across boundaries. Janis will be discussing:
What sort of environment, values and behaviour do we need to facilitate the generation and sharing of ideas and to foster creativity?
What exciting initiatives are happening in the UK and how and why are they working?
Why does innovation happen at the edge and in the gaps between disciplines?
How do we create and sustain an environment of creative collaboration and support networks to encourage cross-fertilisation of ideas, sharing of expertise and creative community?
How does technology help and hinder cooperation, collaboration and creativity?
