City & Guilds accredited Environmental courses

Environmental Education provides first City & Guilds accredited Environmental courses in the southern hemisphere

Environmental Education (NZ) Ltd. is the first education provider in the southern hemisphere to deliver City & Guilds sustainability courses for individuals and businesses. The courses in Environmental Awareness and Resource Efficiency investigate how people can make a real difference in sustainable practise at the individual, corporate and societal level. They also can be used to staircase to higher learning.

The company has teamed up with the Envirohub on 17th Avenue in Tauranga, which will provide a pleasant campus setting for classes starting in March and April. Outside Tauranga, courses will be run in main centres throughout the country.

Environmental Education Director Dr Michael Morris states: “this is a fitting reward for the hard work we have put into developing an top class quality management plan for our institution. Students taking our course will gain an internationally recognised qualification from a highly respected vocational education agency.”

Because there is no age limit for City and Guilds courses, the sustainability courses are also ideal for secondary students, interested in a career in environmental protection.
