Students Graduate with Diploma in Whanau Ora

A second group of students will graduate this week with a Diploma in Whanau Ora.

Following November’s graduation where five students were presented with their Level 5 NZQA parchments, another six will graduate on Wednesday. They will be presented with their parchments by Te Tai Tokerau MP Kelvin Davis, a former school teacher.

Acquiring a tohu through the Whānau Ora Diploma acknowledges the mahi kaimahi do for the community.

Waipareira designed and rolled out the Whanau Ora Diploma as a pilot in September 2012. Six kaimahi from Wai-Health, Wai-Educate and Wai-Social were initially enrolled.

The Whanau Ora Diploma is supported by workforce development funders, such as the Ministry of Health (MPDS).

For information on the graduation, contact Waipareira Communication Director Joseph Los’e on 0280007546 or joseph.lose@waiwhanau.com.
