Inaugural New Zealand Top Student Awards showcase top New Zealand tertiary talent

New Zealand produces some of the greatest minds in business, innovation, education and research. The 2016 Top Student Awards proudly sponsored by Chartered Accountants Australia New Zealand (CAANZ) and Accenture was an opportunity to showcase and celebrate our most talented university students and future leaders of New Zealand.

18 September 2016, Auckland: The New Zealand Top Student Awards, established by Talent Solutions, attracted leading tertiary students to compete for the Top Student Awards in the fields of Accounting & Finance, Business & Commerce and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).

Students were subject to a robust selection process which included a detailed application form, video interviews, cognitive and personality assessments and an assessment centre.

The process aimed to create a learning opportunity for students to experience a best practice graduate selection process ahead of applying for future graduate opportunities.

The awards attracted hundreds of applications from across the country.
