New Platform Simplifies Online Training
NEW ELEARNING PLATFORM ‘SKILLPOD’ SIMPLIFIES ONLINE TRAINING
Smartwork Creative, a leader in instructional and educational design, has launched a unique eLearning solution that allows organisations to tailor their training in a convenient and cost-effective way.
Skillpod allows potential clients to pick and choose from a varied selection of training options, only choosing what is relevant to them rather than purchase an entire off-the-shelf solution.
“The beauty of Skillpod is that organisations can pick the modules that they need, then fully brand and tailor them to their needs,” says Executive Director Kim Dovey.
The modules can be branded and personally tailored with a wide variety of options such as images, videos, voiceovers and more. Smartwork offers the hosting of finished modules on either a Cloud based server or an organisation’s own in-house Learning Management System, making it a truly adaptable solution.
The first Skillpod module, Unconscious Bias, was launched in partnership with Diversity Works New Zealand and SimTutor, last week. The programme will promote an understanding of the importance of diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
Rachel Hopkins, Chief Executive of Diversity Works NZ says, “the modules are a great way to spread a shared language of diversity across organisations large and small, around the country.”
Skillpod launched this week with Health and Safety, Induction and Privacy offerings along with the Unconscious Bias modules. More topics will be added as the Skillpod library grows.
Smartwork is also looking for Subject Matter Experts with great content, to partner with in creating more engaging elearning modules for the Skillpod.
