UCOL welcomes students

UCOL welcomes new and returning students with its SUMMER FAIR ORIENTATION 2012 next week.

Activities start on Tuesday with a Powhiri at 9.30am followed by the traditional UCOL Big Breakfast.

Local businesses, sport clubs and community groups from around the Manawatu gather in the Atrium from 11.00am on Wednesday for the annual Market Day.

There’s a BBQ lunch and ‘good old summer fun’ games including sack races, egg and spoon races and more.

Students and non-students over 18 years of age are welcome to join the SUMMER FAIR PUBCRAWL. The event starts at 6.00pm on Friday 24 February. Tickets are limited and can be purchased for $30 each from V@ult – the Students Association’s bright green building on Queen Street.

Free food, a tee shirt, refreshment tickets and prizes are included in the ticket price.
