Bookings now open for H2O Xtream school holiday programme

The next school holidays are just around the corner. The exciting holiday programme at H2O Xtream Aquatic Centre has lots of awesome activities to keep children entertained.

UPPER HUTT, Wellington NZ, 31 AUG 2015— Bookings are now open for H2O Xtream’s school holiday programme. This term we have lots on offer, day trips as well as activities run by our team leaders. The holiday programme caters for two age groups: Surf’s Up for 5 – 8 year olds; and Hang Ten for 9 – 13 year olds.

H2O Xtream recently surveyed parents of children that attended the previous holiday programme and feedback was very positive. Cost and location were major factors in selecting the holiday programme, as well as it being OSCAR approved—so available for WINZ funding.

H2O Xtream has also improved the programme based on feedback regarding the activities on offer. The team has created some new activities such as a Drama day with Jeanette and Food day with Ian, and for the older group, learning hip-hop with Dani and chocolate making with Mary.

Day trips have been expanded to include activities such as Ice skating at the ice rink in Lower Hutt, Paint ball, mini-golf and Silver Stream Railway. Back by popular demand, the older group will be attending Capital E to create their own TV show. This activity was one of the highlights from last term and should not be missed!

The H2O Xtream holiday programme runs from 8.30 am to 4.00 pm. Overtime is also available, in the mornings from 7.00 am, and until 6.00 pm in the evenings.
