Media Release

Growing Demand for Quality Dental Care Leads Lumino the Dentists to Open New Look Auckland Practice

Lumino the Dentists, New Zealand’s largest dental network, has opened the first of its new look practices in the Auckland suburb of Mt. Eden. The launch was celebrated at a cocktail event on Tuesday, 4th March.

The growth of Lumino The Dentists, which is expanding at a rate of more than six practices a year, has been driven by an increasing demand, within New Zealand, for quality, dental services. The new look is part of Lumino’s commitment to a national identity for New Zealand’s only national dentistry group.

Andy Tapper, General Manager of the Lumino The Dentists group, says: ‘Growing numbers of New Zealanders are recognising the benefits of regular dental care and are seeking out dentists that can meet all of their needs. Our aim is to meet this ever escalating demand by offering the highest standard of dental healthcare to New Zealanders no matter where they live through our growing family of skilled practitioners.’

Lumino The Dentists’ most recent practice will offer specialist services such as orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry and hygiene services alongside more general treatments.

Dr Brett Hawkins, who has 15 years experience in dentistry and a special interest in orthodontics, will share the practice with highly skilled dental surgeon, Dr Ewan Yun. They will be joined by one dental hygienist and two orthodontic auxiliaries.

The Lumino The Dentists Mt Eden practice is located at 388 Dominion Road, Mt Eden. Appointments can be made by calling 09 361 7159 or by emailing mteden@lumino.co.nz.

Lumino The Dentists clinics can be found throughout both the North and South Islands.
