Alleged attack on Aviation Security Woman

Alleged attack on Aviation Security Woman

A woman Aviation Security employee was allegedly attacked by illegal street racers she came across as she was patrolling near Christchurch International Airport last night.

As the woman was on Pound Road about 10.30pm she drove through a group of 'quite a few' illegal street racers and three windows on the back and side of her vehicle were broken.

"It would have been a frightening experience," says Inspector Dave Lawry, Christchurch Northern Area Police. "However the woman was not injured,."

Police are investigating and liaising with Aviation Security.
