Breakfast with Mahe Drysdale and support Arthritis NZ

Media Release

5 March 2013

Breakfast with Mahe Drysdale and support Arthritis New Zealand

Arthritis New Zealand Chief Executive Sandra Kirby is delighted to offer people in Auckland the opportunity to support arthritis, while dining with one of New Zealand’s leading sportspersons.

Olympic gold medallist Mahe Drysdale will be speaking at a breakfast fundraiser for Arthritis New Zealand next week. This will be a rare opportunity to listen to one of New Zealand’s leading sports heroes and find out what drives him. And it will be a chance for Mahe to share what motivates him.

This special event is not to take us all on a guilt trip but to share the motivation of one of New Zealand’s best known athletes and be encouraged to exercise more.

The breakfast will be held from 7.30 am – 9.30 am on Wednesday 13 March ay the Fortuna Buffet Restaurant, Level 3, SkyCity, Auckland. Tickets are $65.00, with all proceeds going to Arthritis New Zealand.

Please RSVP to: dianne.armstrong@arthritis.org.nz or call Carol Lovatt on 09 523 8910 by this Thursday 7 March.

Arthritis New Zealand is a national organisation that raises awareness of the more than 140 forms of arthritis, advocates for those living with arthritis, funds research, and provides support through information and advice. There are more than 530,000 New Zealanders living with arthritis.
