Nelson Clinic - Demand for Complementary Health Services

April 9, 2013

Nelson Clinic Supports Rising Demand for Complementary Health Services

A complementary healthcare business specialising in Neurological Integration System (NIS) is experiencing significant growth, due to an increasing interest in complementary and alternative healthcare industries in Nelson, says practice owner Robyn Rusholme.

Rusholme, who is the owner of Optimal Neuro Health, and an experienced NIS Masters Practitioner, opened her Nelson premises in September 2012 after initially running her business from home, in order to accommodate the growing demand for her service.

“The treatment I provide is non-invasive, using the intelligence of the brain to help the body to heal itself. Although I started Optimal Neuro Health as a home-based business, my client database quickly grew by word-of-mouth, and last year I established my Waimea Road clinic in order to better accommodate my clients,” says Rusholme.

“My local client base has increased by twenty to thirty percent in the last six months, and the feedback I am receiving shows Nelsonians in particular are becoming increasingly aware of the potential benefits of complementary healthcare services, so it is great to see the two-fold benefits the industry is providing – in helping people to achieve optimal health, and contributing to the wealth of the local economy.”
