Blue Illusion supports orange

Arthritis New Zealand’s Chief Executive Sandra Kirby is delighted that some of the Blue Illusion stores are supporting Arthritis New Zealand’s Annual Appeal.

Blue Illusion has a strong commitment to the local and global community. On 28 September, Blue Illusion stores in Palmerston North, Napier, Christchurch and Dunedin will be hosting events between 12.30 – 3:30pm that will see 20% of sales going to Arthritis New Zealand.

“We are grateful to Blue Illusion for its support,” Ms Kirby said. “Only about 12% of our funding comes from government agencies, so we are dependent on the goodwill of our donors, volunteers and other supporters. So by supporting Blue Illusion stores in those centres on 28September, you will also be supporting us.”

It's such fun to have a really good excuse to renew the wardrobe!

Palmerston North Manager, Wendy, has first hand experience of arthritis and the impact that is having on her.

Arthritis New Zealand is the national organisation focussed on raising awareness of the more than 140 different forms of arthritis, advocating for those with the condition, and providing advice and support. Its Annual Appeal is from 24 September – 30 September. You can donate when you see one of our collectors on the street, through our website: www.arthritis.org.nz. Text 'joints' to 5464. Or you can phone 0900 333 20 to donate $20.

Arthritis, it could surprise you.
