Driver flown to hospital

Press Release: TrustPower TECT Rescue Helicopter

This afternoon the Tauranga based TrustPower TECT Rescue helicopter was called to Waihi where a 66 year old local man had crashed his car into the back of a parked logging truck, he received chest and abdominal injuries as a result of the crash. He was treated at the scene by St John ambulance paramedics before being flown to Tauranga hospital in a serious condition.
