154 Lives Changed through Radio Appeal

154 Lives Changed through Radio Appeal

Rhema’s Cure One Hundred Day exceeds expectation with 161 people affected with Leprosy in the Third World given a new future.

Rhema partnered with the Leprosy Mission with the aim of curing 100 people affected by the disease. The Rhema listeners answered the call and generously stumped up enough money to cure, care for and restore 161 people!

Brent Morgan CEO of the Leprosy Mission says “we are so grateful to Rhema and their listeners for giving so generously, their gift means that all these people that were once isolated because of a lack of education and social stigma have a fresh start at a new future”

Leprosy is a bacterial disease that can be cured with a 6-12 month course of antibiotics, education in the third world is lacking, and poverty stricken areas are still affected by this curable disease.

About The Leprosy Mission:
The Leprosy Mission is an organisation that works with leprosy-affected families and their communities in over 28 leprosy-affected countries around the world.
