Cystic Fibrosis Christmas Tree Festival

WELLINGTON AIRPORT – CYSTIC FIBROSIS CHRISTMAS TREE FESTIVAL

Travellers to Wellington Airport won’t be able to miss this year’s Cystic Fibrosis annual Christmas Tree Festival.

It’s the first time the event will be hosted at Wellington Airport which will be lit up with Christmas Trees on display that have been sponsored and decorated by prominent businesses between 24 November and 7 January 2016.

The trees will be placed in clusters around the airport – and it will be fun to see how the Wellington Phoenix football team and the New Zealand Rugby Union have decorated their exhibitions. Lewis Road Creamery, Weta Workshop, NZ Post, Eftpos and many other businesses have also kindly decorated their own Tree on display for the Cystic Fibrosis charity.

The Wellington Christmas Tree Festival has been running for seven years to help raise money for people living with the condition in the region. This year, Wellington Airport has generously offered to pay for a gala night in the lead up to Christmas when the winning tree will be announced.

Travellers wanting to donate to Cystic Fibrosis Wellington can do so at the donation boxes, or by visiting the website cfnz.org.nz. There’s also a text “CFNZ” to 7003 to donate $3 for Vodafone customers.
