Vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus (VRE) update – Dunedin Hospital

There have been no further positive culture results for Vancomycin Resistant Enterococcus at Dunedin Hospital, following five patients recently admitted who had screened positive. All subsequent screening has produced negative results. Screening is continuing and Southern DHB will provide updates if there is any change.
