Hawke’s Bay
District Health Board’s (HBDHB) Public Health Team has
been advised by Capital and Coast District Health Board that
there is a patient in Wellington Hospital diagnosed with
Guillain Barre Syndrome (GBS).
Hawke's Bay's Public
Health Team is following up to see whether this case is
linked to the Havelock North campylobacter outbreak.
HBDHB can confirm it has no one in Hawke’s Bay Fallen
Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital with
GBS.
