Following Ministerial approval, we are pleased to announce the outcome of Council elections, which were held in September 2017.

Joanna Hart and Maria Armstrong and have been newly appointed to the Council. Catherine Byrne has been reappointed as Council Chairperson.

These new members replace Joanne Hopson and Dr Jo Ann Walton. Dr Walton withdrew from the election process to accept a role at the Council as Director, Registrant Quality.

We sincerely thank these outgoing members for their dedicated service to the Council and to our nursing profession.
