Mary Potter Hospice Calls for Street Collectors

Mary Potter Hospice Calls for Street Collectors

Mary Potter Hospice today called for volunteers to help with its annual street collection in May.

“We urgently need to find over six hundred people to give up an hour or two of their time on Friday May 11 or Saturday May 12 to help us with our annual street collection,” says Krissy Cloutman, Hospice spokesperson.

“This is a major fundraiser for us. We would be grateful to hear from anyone who could collect for us on one of these two days. By giving us a little bit of their time the public can make a huge difference towards helping to keep the Hospice’s services free for our community.

“Donations from the public help pay for our specialist nurses to co-ordinate care for a family looking after a loved one at home. Or, for our occupational, music and massage therapists to spend time with patients, and for patients to attend the Hospice’s wonderful day units,” says Krissy Cloutman.

“If you can help us please contact me as soon as possible.”
