Short Forecast from Weather Workshop valid to midnight tomorrow.
For all the North Island also Nelson: Fine today but a few cloudy periods about Northland. Tomorrow patchy rain developing about Northland and cloudy periods as far south as Waikato but mostly fine and frosty elsewhere.
For Marlborough and Canterbury: Mainly fine today. Fine and frosty at first tomorrow but cloud increasing late in the day and a few showers spread north after dark.
Along the west coast of the South Island: Fine apart from cloudy periods today. Tomorrow, cloud increasing with rain developing about Fiordland and falls spreading north from evening.
In Otago and Southland: Mainly fine apart from a few cloudy periods about the Southland coast and Stewart Island. Cloud increasing tomorrow with showers and a cold southerlies change spreading north. Some snow may fall to low levels about the ranges after dark.
Chatham Islands: Showers at times.
