Scoop Images: A17: Police Violence In DC

The A16 and A17 demonstrations have been declared an outstanding success by demonstrators. Massive international coverage of the protests has included hourly coverage on both CNN and BBC for most of the 2 day period.

Notably what violence there was during the action was mainly from police against protestors. Several hundred protestors remain in custody following the action.

The following pictures (from http://indymedia.org )depict the darker side of the Washington DC A17 protests - police violence.
