An anonymous email has been received by Scoop stating that May Day activists plan to Reclaim the Streets of Christchurch by messing with the traffic signals.

The communique goes on to state that they "have the expertise and knowledge to do this" and have already completed one this morning.

"Lights will be changed at busy intersections at busy times blocking traffic at major intersections throughout Christchurch." is also stated.
