The Palm Beach County US Presidential Election ballot paper that has the world in a spin.

During voting on Tuesday 19,000 voters in Palm Beach County Florida voted for both Al Gore and Pat Buchanan. There votes were later discarded by electoral supervisors.

It appears clear - and even Pat Buchanan has acknowledged - that had this ballot paper been less confusing then Vice President Al Gore would have won the State of Florida and therefore the US Election.
