Katya Rivas: Surrender Your Will Because Of Love

The Medallion of the Apostolate of the New Evangelization

The Great Crusade Of Love

Extract #35

Surrender Your Will because of the Love You Have for Me

CL-35
10-Jan-96
Jesus

My daughter, you ask Me to invalidate your will. No, My little one, not that. You are to keep your will because I want you to be the one who voluntarily chooses to live at My side or depart from Me, the one who accepts to suffer for My Love or renounce the immolation.

If I were to invalidate your will, subordinating it to Mine, you would be the same instrument that you are now, but it would be lacking of all sentiment and you would not receive the fruit of your work because it would lack all merit. I summoned you: follow Me. if your desire and will impel you to this, but do it spontaneously, valiantly and certain of what you desire and certain that your love for Me dictates your heart.

In uniting yourself to the small and the large, to joy and sadness, to work and suffering, even though your courage may fluctuate and you may feel tired and fear getting weak, be assured that you are closer to My Heart. You are closer than if I were to invalidate your will completely and utilize you without you being an obstacle to My purposes.

I want you submitted to My wishes and My Love, not by My power but by the love that you have for Me and brings you to submerge yourself in My Heart, submitting yourself voluntarily to all that I desire and wish of you. Only in this way do I invalidate the wills because the souls that I choose know how to invalidate themselves by humility and sacrifice in order to have Me closer…

EDITOR’S NOTE: Starting Monday, 05 March 2001, in the first week of Lent 2001, Scoop began publication of a series of daily reflections on spiritual matters from Bolivian author Katya Rivas. Rivas, has received an official imprimatur from the Catholic Church for several books she says she was instructed to write by Jesus Christ, Mary and various Angels. Scoop’s extract, above, comes from Rivas’s book “The Passion”. In 1999 Katya Rivas was the subject of a top-rating documentary show hosted by Mike Willessee (see Scoop TV review - Jesus Christ Tells FOXNews He Wants To Hug World and Scoop Images ). More recently Rivas says she was instructed by Jesus to have her books translated and published on the internet with the intention of having the books distributed to as wide an audience as possible. Several of the books can now be read online at http://www.greatcrusade.org/, and more are coming soon.
