Economy Less Than 1% Bigger Than It Was A Year Ago

- No change in GDP was recorded in the March 2001 quarter, according to information released today by Statistics New Zealand. Dollar Tumbling – Could Interest Rates Be Heading South?

– Since 5pm last night the Kiwi Dollar has been falling steadily. According to Yahoo’s currency calculator [1] the dollar was buying 40.52 US Cents at 3.40pm this afternoon down from close to 41.7 Cents yesterday afternoon.
