Katya Rivas: I Am Source of the Essence You Seek

The Medallion of the Apostolate of the New Evangelization

The Great Crusade Of Love

Extract #107

I Am the Source of the Essence You Seek

CL-109
20-Jan-96
Jesus

Man seeks the essence of things and he would want it singly without the mixture of other things that make it less comprehensible. Therefore, I adjust Myself and try to take away from man that which hinders him in his search for the essence of things. But, what happens? Man, upon feeling grief because I am evaporating the liquid that goes with the essence, is bothered and shouts as if I had not accepted his petition.

How can I make him find what he seeks if I do not set on fire that which prevents him from knowing exactly what he seeks, that is to say, the truth?

Place some wine on a burner and bring it to a boil until reducing it to a little of the liquid and you will have the essence of the wine. You can only see and perceive the essence of the wine that has gotten to the boiling point, before diminishing.

Now look how fragile man’s memory is and how fickle his purpose. When I invite him to the spring where he will satisfy his thirst, he runs, flies towards Me. On the other hand, when I take his thirst away by showing him the truth, he snorts because he does not get to savor immediately the freshness of the water.

But wait, oh impatient and intolerant man. I have told you that this is the source, yet I have not promised you that your thirst would suddenly cease. You must get to My source to find the essence you seek. Unfortunately, we shall always get to the same thing; that is why I again invite him and allow the thirsty man to make sure about everything.

EDITOR’S NOTE: Starting Monday, 05 March 2001, in the first week of Lent 2001, Scoop began publication of a series of daily reflections on spiritual matters from Bolivian author Katya Rivas. Rivas, has received an official imprimatur from the Catholic Church for several books she says she was instructed to write by Jesus Christ, Mary and various Angels. Scoop’s extract, above, comes from Rivas’s book “The Passion”. In 1999 Katya Rivas was the subject of a top-rating documentary show hosted by Mike Willessee (see Scoop TV review - Jesus Christ Tells FOXNews He Wants To Hug World and Scoop Images ). More recently Rivas says she was instructed by Jesus to have her books translated and published on the internet with the intention of having the books distributed to as wide an audience as possible. Several of the books can now be read online at http://www.greatcrusade.org/, and more are coming soon.
