The Distance between Your Way and Mine Is Vast

From The Great Crusade Of Love Extract #103
CL-103
19-Jan-96
Jesus

I make the creature look out to the thresholds of the unknown world that dominates them, in order to comprehend some secret and allow him to take it to the earth like an intense treasure. What pity for those who do not want to understand My work! What blindness that prevents knowing what most interests the soul who lives solitary on earth!

Yet, why do I allure this soul? Because I manifest Myself in it? May the creature comprehend and take hold of Me: I want her effort and will reward it. She should tell Me: " My Creator, I have not understood well what you mean, yet you have made me understand that You love me. For that reason I trust in You; I accept, listen, and want because I see that You want." Ah, if only they would tell Me this, those that waver would find so much good!

For this reason I speak to you of renouncing yourselves and I always insist on it. This is because I know and see that the reason why you do not listen to Me is always one: it is always the "I" full of self, not righteousness stripped of self. I repeat: the distance is vast between your way and Mine, between your reasons and Mine, the reasons why you do not believe I love you, that you will not succeed in filling the abyss that separates us. Nevertheless, I am with you every day, every hour, always, and you do not understand Me, you do not believe Me. I love you: remember it; think about it. It is not a fruitless thing. My Love is not empty words telling you that I love you, but it is full of truths and promises. I love you and you also love Me.

He who loves Me will see the fullness of truth in these words that I pronounce to give you the nth testimony of Me, because I do not deceive. I consolidate all your trust, continuously increasing My gifts and making them so evident so as to make you touch the truth of My Love with your hand. Creatures, be docile, believe in Me, and continuously mistrust yourselves. Take My word for it; this way you will find Me.

EXTRACT ENDS…

EDITOR’S NOTE: Through the rest of 2002, Scoop will be publishing a series of daily reflections on spiritual matters from Bolivian author Katya Rivas. Rivas, has received an official imprimatur from the Catholic Church for several books she says she was instructed to write by Jesus Christ, Mary and various Angels. Scoop’s extract, above, comes from Rivas’s book “The Door to Heaven”. In 1999 Katya Rivas was the subject of a top-rating documentary show hosted by Mike Willessee (see Scoop TV review - Jesus Christ Tells FOXNews He Wants To Hug World and Scoop Images ). More recently Rivas says she was instructed by Jesus to have her books translated and published on the internet with the intention of having the books distributed to as wide an audience as possible. Several of the books can now be read online at http://www.greatcrusade.org/, and more are coming soon. In August 2002 Rivas visited Wellington New Zealand and met with Scoop Editor Alastair Thompson.
