Suffering and Hope

From The Great Crusade Of Love Extract #37
CL-37
10-Jan-96
Jesus

Little daughter, no suffering is lost in the divine goodness. Besides, this way you are closer to Me, who also suffered those same pains. It is as if by taking your soul I would bring it closer to My Heart, melt it into Mine. This way in Me, forming a whole with Me, you are part of the redemption of many souls.

You ask about yours? Yours is in My hand as long as your will wants Mine to be in you. Let Me mold you like soft wax until it gets to be a true image of the seal of My Heart. For this you must love and suffer without fainting, surrendering yourself voluntarily and with absolute confidence.

Suffer for a soul that has lost the faith. Pray a lot for that soul so that at the end it will be saved. Afterwards offer those sufferings for another, and another, and yet another…

Remember that in one way or another, you must suffer united always to My sufferings in order to save many souls that would be lost if there were not generous souls willing to expiate for them. Later they themselves will expiate for others, uniting themselves to the Communion of Saints. This is the true divine charity: to redeem, to expiate in silence, to ignore the why and for whom you suffer, to move solely in the circle of divine love without hesitation, and to trust in the divine justice and in My Heart, the fountain of strength.

(I lay down to rest for a few minutes and in my mind I saw the image of the Lord of the Divine Mercy amongst green and purple lights. His face was transparent. I sat up suddenly frightened).

Do not fear, beloved daughter, I want you to see Me this way because these are the colors of hope and suffering. That double light guided My footsteps on earth.

I suffered without interruption for the salvation of the human race, but that suffering was illuminated and tied to that other light of hope in My Father, and the confidence that My sufferings would bear an infinite fruit.

EXTRACT ENDS…

EDITOR’S NOTE: Through the rest of 2002, Scoop will be publishing a series of daily reflections on spiritual matters from Bolivian author Katya Rivas. Rivas, has received an official imprimatur from the Catholic Church for several books she says she was instructed to write by Jesus Christ, Mary and various Angels. Scoop’s extract, above, comes from Rivas’s book “The Door to Heaven”. In 1999 Katya Rivas was the subject of a top-rating documentary show hosted by Mike Willessee (see Scoop TV review - Jesus Christ Tells FOXNews He Wants To Hug World and Scoop Images ). More recently Rivas says she was instructed by Jesus to have her books translated and published on the internet with the intention of having the books distributed to as wide an audience as possible. Several of the books can now be read online at http://www.greatcrusade.org/, and more are coming soon. In August 2002 Rivas visited Wellington New Zealand and met with Scoop Editor Alastair Thompson.
