Jesus

To humble yourself before others is an effective way to advance that produces vigorous effects on the Divine Love. But to humble yourself means to know your own nothingness, not with empty words, but truly how it is.

He who attempts to humble himself will feel a great resistance in doing it and will find a thousand reasons not to do it. Resistance is good because the value of humiliation consists precisely in defeating it ( the resistance); on the other hand, thinking about humiliation is bad. One can say that the less you think about this topic, the more you gather fruits derived from humiliation.

I am directing you towards the summit of love and I always prepare for you new humiliations, precisely to make you suffer. Through experience I demonstrate to you the sport of highs and lows, and you truly run next to Me like a deer over the steep slopes of your mountain. By reaching the top, you will master the distance covered and new horizons will be opened to you. If you are tired of following Me, it is not enough motive to abandon Me.

I know, many miseries are merging to suddenly drown you, and I warn you so that you will be firmly united to Me, your infinite richness. The end of everything will come the moment you receive My proof. In this there is no doubt because My Word is given.

Confine your sufferings in Me, I ask you to do this constantly. Subsequently, I shall open your mind and your heart so that you can see and love your Creator in the state of wisdom.

EDITOR’S NOTES: Through the rest of 2003, Scoop will be publishing a series of daily reflections on spiritual matters from Bolivian author Katya Rivas. Rivas, has received an official imprimatur from the Catholic Church for several books she says she was instructed to write by Jesus Christ, Mary and various Angels. Scoop’s extract, above, comes from Rivas’s book “The Great Crusade of Love”. Readers can sign up to recieve daily extracts from Katya Rivas's writings by email at: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dailykatya/

In 1999 Katya Rivas was the subject of a top-rating documentary show hosted by Mike Willessee (see Scoop TV review - Jesus Christ Tells FOXNews He Wants To Hug World and Scoop Images ). More recently Rivas says she was instructed by Jesus to have her books translated and published on the internet with the intention of having the books distributed to as wide an audience as possible. Several of the books can now be read online at http://www.greatcrusade.org/, and more are coming soon. In August 2002 Rivas visited Wellington New Zealand and met with Scoop Editor Alastair Thompson. Gordon Campbell: On Vladimir Putin’s Wonderful, Fabulous, Very Good Year

Safe to say that no-one, but no-one has had a better 2016 than Vladimir Putin. What an annus mirabilis it has been for him. Somehow, Russia got away with directly interfering in the US election process, such that a friendly oligarch is about to take up residence in the White House, rather than a genuine rival. More>>

We all supposedly agree that the media is going to hell in a tabloid handbasket, but the trends to the contrary can be a bit harder to spot. In his 1970s book The Right Stuff, Tom Wolfe had mocked the way the media instinctively acts as what he called The Victorian Gentleman. More>>
