Images: Kiwi Democrats Watch Debate At Murphys |
||
A handful of expatriate Democrats took time out at 2pm today to watch John Kerry and George Bush's presidential shootout via satellite from Arizona at Murphy's Irish bar in Cuba St Wellington. The following photos do not do justice to the intensity of either moment or emotion. Images by Kevin List.

Take some Irish American Hospitality…

…add an invitation from the
Kerry Edwards campaign's local representative..

…Ronald Nelson. "We are
looking for Kerry supporters in Wellington to come and
support the millions of supporters at home supporting John
Kerry - the next President of the United States!!!"
And enjoy.

A visitor from Hawke's Bay,
