NEWSFLASH: Paul Holmes Resigns From TVNZ
TVNZ's highest paid and most controversial anchor, Paul Holmes, has resigned from the state broadcaster.
According to Radio New Zealand Paul Holmes has said he is going to work for Prime Television, the Kerry Packer owned channel which only recently introduced news programming in the form of a low budget 5.30pm service produced out of Australia and hosted by Suzy Aitken.
There have been rumours for some time that TVNZ would not be renewing Mr Holme's contract, believed to be in the region of $700,000 a year.
