Marat-Sade Diplomacy Prevails Over Palestine

Israeli Marat-Sade Diplomacy Prevails Over Palestine

By Genevieve Cora Fraser

In the Marat-Sade
School of Diplomacy
PR passes for Truth
Sophistry for Wisdom
Palestinians pass
For Arabs who
Do not exist
As Palestinians
Merely nomads
That wandered
Onto the land
That Israel has had
For three thousand
Years though they
Were missing in Europe
And parts unknown
For a couple of millennia
Until recently
Courses teach
Archeologist stole
All the evidence
That they were once
A great nation
For 94 years
Maybe more
Though we are sure
It was three thousand
Perhaps six
Only one g-d
Though a few other
Roman and Greek
Showed up
In the Temple
The Marat-Sade
School of Diplomacy
Is mandatory
For Israeli leaders
Taught Domination
Total Control
(A Democracy
For the Select
All others
We reject
As citizens)
Learn the trick
Use the stick
Against enemies
We’re the Master
They the slave
State’s security
Lashing out
With intense cruelty
Your neighbors
Forced to die
So we might live
Free of the Others
Exit the land
Arabs are an offence
Before g-d
The only men
Who Count
Are latter-day
Prophets decked out
In beards counting
Dunam by dunam
As they bulldoze
The evidence
That anyone ever
Lived where they
Stake their claim
The Israeli g-d
Is a just g-d
That just prefers
White-only European
Ancestral Jews
Their g-d picks
And chooses
All others
Are the losers
Monsieur Marat
Demands a reign
That must sustain
Terror or power
Will be lost to
The rubble
The multitudes
That Christ taught
To love
The select
What Serves
Their cause
No need to pause
All rights are theirs
The manner of death
Is ours to know
And yours to find
Out of the blue
Expect a bomb
Blast like a storm
Blows your brains
The Israelis
Stalk the skies
Super Spies
Permits here
Permits there
Don’t despair
Appeal the court
Wait for Justice
Self control
Be docile
Guns are trained
On your brains
The checkpoints
Will be maintained
The Marquis de Sade’s
Pleasure is your pain
Brings a kink
To the game
Select a room
We’ll bring the broom
A prison sweep
Nets all ages
Against the Wall
Locked in
We won’t refrain
But torture
For our gain
Every last man
Woman and child
It brings a smile
To Zionist faces
As bedbugs

Gordon Campbell: On The Politicising Of The War On Drugs In Sport

It hasn’t been much fun at all to see how “war on drugs in sport” has become a proxy version of the Cold War, fixated on Russia. This weekend’s banning of the Russian long jumper Darya Klishina took that fixation to fresh extremes. More>>

Binoy Kampmark: Kevin Rudd’s Failed UN Secretary General Bid

Few sights are sadder in international diplomacy than seeing an aging figure desperate for honours. In a desperate effort to net them, he scurries around, cultivating, prodding, wishing to be noted.
