Scoop's co-editor Selwyn Manning presents Scoop's daily podcast, today reporting on Japan's hold on the International Whaling Conference in St. Kitts, in the Caribbean. The recommencement of commercial whaling was narrowly avoided, thanks to a 75% vote requirement by the IWC that ensures a 20 year moratorium prohibiting the hunting of whales for profit remains.
