Democrats Have Failed Us - Republicans A Disaster

Democrats Have Failed Us - Republicans Are Disaster - Ralph Nader For President

By Genevieve Cora Fraser

Today's Democracy Now featured a re-invigorated Ralph Nader speaking out against Israeli genocidal aggression on Palestine and Lebanon. And below is a letter to the editor regarding a "We Stand For Israel" ad taken out in the Boston Globe and signed by such Democratic luminaries as Senator Kennedy and would-be presidential candidates Republican Governor Mitt Romney (and past candidate) Senator John Kerry who also sponsored the Anti-Palestinian legislation. Hillary Clinton would have signed but she is not a Massachusetts politician and is too busy speaking at rallies declaring that "All Americans Support Israel" ... as they attempt to bomb Lebanon back into the stone age.

The Democrats have failed us - the Republicans are a disaster. Our next President of the United States must be sensitive to the overwhelming environmental issues which, if not addressed, threaten the planet. That President must be an honest broker in the Middle East conflict and be brave and true enough to serve as a humanist with concerns for all.

There is only one American with stature capable of winning - Ralph Nader. Perhaps we could get Dennis Kucinich to serve as the Vice Presidential candidate.

Letter to the Globe
THE BOSTON GLOBE
Boston, MA

Re: We Stand for Israel, 7/20/06

Dear Editor

Today's Boston Globe brings a disgusting reality to bear for those who believe that Arab and Muslim life, adults and children, are just as important as American and Israeli lives. The signers of this ad have revealed that they only appreciate and care about the lives and well-being of Israelites.

On Page A7, July 20, there is a half-page advertisement, signed by everyone that we know in the Boston area involved in politics, also others, owners of successful businesses and those we have never heard of.

Just think: ALL noted politicians have signed this despicable ad - Romney, Kerry, Kennedy, Bulger, Galvin, Healey, Gabrieli, Kevin White, Senator Markey, Rep. Olver, Deval Patrick, Tip O'neill, III, even James Kelly.

And the American people silently and sheepishly acquiesce to Israel's terrorism over our officials, over our President, over our Congress and Senate, voting to put or keep this motley group and their ilk in office.

Two IDF soldiers abducted: Israel has terrorized, destroyed Lebanon (AGAIN) One IDF soldier abducted: The finishing off of Gaza, its people, its culture

How can we awaken not only our politicians, but the average person who knows little or nothing about the supremacy of Israel and the true history of what it has done to Palestine and many areas of the Holy Land, and which does not show any signs of deceasing this insanity?

Sincerely,

Paul Bradford
