Scoop Audio (click here to listen): United States Senate Republicans moved to support President George W. Bush's plan to prosecute and interrogate terror suspects. Audio is of Bush urging the Senate to process the legislation urgently.

The new laws will make it legal for the CIA to use torture to obtain information from terror suspects, and makes it legal for noncitizens inside the United States to be detained indefinitely, without access to the court system, until the ``war on terror" is over.
