U.S. Midterms: William Rivers Pitt Leads Off A Post Election Comment Fest

- Let us be absolutely clear on what has taken place. This was not simply a midterm election, not just a historic running of the table, not just a scathing repudiation of virtually everything the Bush administration has stood for since they swaggered ... U.S. Midterms: A Monumental Victory For U.S. Election Protection

    - The real winner in the November 7 election is the grassroots voter protection movement. That the well-oiled, well-funded Rove/Bush theft machine lost control of the US House with the Senate as close as it is says just one thing: somebody was watching. In ... See... Energy: Bonus Joules Meets The Minister Of Energy

Pacific: A Fair Trade Activist View On Pacific Trading Relations

    - No one can doubt that we live in an age of empire and imperialism. The neo-liberal World Trade Organisation (WTO), the World Bank and International Monetary Fund (IMF) stalk the planet complimented by regional and bilateral free trade agreements. The attempts by the imperialist nations to open up new markets and new resources to their trans-national corporations (TNCs) are intensifying daily. A global trade system is being forced onto the world by the central capitalist nations to secure a flow of wealth and natural resources from the less developed to the developed world. See... The Real Deal: Catherine Austin Fitt's Foreword To History Uncensored

    - I resisted learning real history for several years. Instead I satisfied my curiosity about the past with the socially acceptable version of history that was taught in school and easily purchased at most bookstores. It seemed to me that the darker side of things was an unpleasant topic. Delving into it ran the risk of attracting the negative. I had precious little time to master the socially acceptable version. Who had time to search out information that was difficult, even dangerous to obtain and depressing if indeed you found it? Why bother looking into the gruesome details of things like narcotics trafficking, money laundering and genocide? See... The Real Deal: Living History [1]
