Prime Minister Helen Clark and Foreign Affairs Minister Winston Peters held a press conference this afternoon to announce that New Zealand will be hosting a face to face meeting between Fijian Prime Minister Qarase and Military Commander Commodore Bainimarama tomorrow at Government House in Wellington. The meeting has been brokered by Foreign Affairs Minister Winston Peters and it is hoped it will avoid the possibility of a coup in Fiji. See also press release… NZ to host talks on Fijian situation
