    Tony Blair - Tony Blair has backed the Iraqi government's announcement of an inquiry into the circumstances of the execution of Saddam Hussein. The Prime Minister's spokesman, speaking at a lobby briefing with the press, said that the PM welcomed the Iraqi government's investigation into the leak of video footage, apparently filmed on a mobile phone and seen by millions worldwide on the web and on TV. Earlier this week, the Deputy Prime Minister expressed his views on the matter, saying that the unofficial images of the execution were "deplorable". See...     Pacific News: Bainimarama To Assert Immunity For His Soldiers

    - Fiji's military head Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama on Friday had his reappointed President Ratu Josefa Iloilo swear him in as Fiji's interim prime minister. FijiLive reports that Bainimarama will not draw down a PM's salary but his first action will be to facilitate immunity for his soldiers while giving his first public address as Interim prime minister.
