The Te Matatini Kapa Haka Festival was held at Arena Manawatu in Palmerston North from February 22-25. Wellington photographer Karim Sahai caught the action for Scoop.

East Coast Kapa Haka group Whangara-mai-Tawhiti was named the supreme winner of the festival.
