Listen to today's Press Conference with Prime Minister Helen Clark, Defence Minister Phil Goff and CDF Lieutenant General Jerry Mateparae announcing a Victoria Cross award. "Corporal Bill (Willy) Apiata of the NZSAS has been awarded the Victoria Cross for New Zealand for his actions in saving the life of a comrade under heavy fire from opposing forces," Helen Clark said.
