Today gives us a hard fought, tight special election for an open congressional seat in Illinois’ 14th Congressional District. DuPage County is one of the counties that is part of the 14th. Reports from the county are that their Diebold/Premier DREs flashed the word “REPUBLICAN” when the voter began the voting process. This subliminal message, if that is what it is, is something new in the dirty tricks bag and another good reason to get rid of DREs. No vvpat will solve this tactic....
