'Daily Voting News' For December 08, 2008

Guest Blogged by John Gideon of VotersUnite.org

There is not a lot of election’s related news today. The discovery that Premier/Diebold allowed counties to use software that they, the vendor, knew was not accurate is still in the news. There are two blog items leading tonight’s short list that discuss this recent discovery in Humboldt Co California....

  • CA: Humboldt County - 'Humboldt Transparency Project' Reveals Diebold's, U.S. Federal Voting System Failures LINK
  • California: Humboldt County - Diebold Voting Software Lost Ballots in California County LINK
  • Minnesota: Minneapolis calls off search for ballots LINK
  • Ohio: Franklin County - Democrat wins central Ohio congressional race LINK
  • Ohio: Franklin County - OH-15: It's Kilroy. And It's Not Close LINK
  • West Virginia: Recount Under Way in Taylor County Election LINK
