Parliament resumes this week, with a grab-bag of legislation moving through various stages under urgency on a schedule which, it seems, you should ask someone other than the Prime Minister about.
My Key was able to discuss a minimum wage increase of 50 cents to $12.50 per hour, planned firefighting assistance to Australia, the best way not to give MPs a pay rise, the proposed Dunedin stadium, possible Afghanistan deployments, progress toward departmental cost-cutting and a planned review of SIS activities sparked by Keith Locke's file.
There was also a general discussion of the Government's long-awaited infrastructure plans in housing, roading and education.
