Green Party Displays 350 Banner In Parliament

Green Party Co-Leader Metiria Turei today displayed a banner during Parliament's question time for the 350 parts per million movement - 350.org - which seeks to get nations to commit to a target of 350 parts per million of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.
350.org which has a global day of action planned for this Saturday - October 24th.
Metiria Turei's banner was displayed while she asked a supplementary question to Climate Change Minister Nick Smith in question number 10. Dr Smith responded that the Government's official target was 450 parts per million of carbon dioxide.
