  • Tom Frewen: With his emissions trading scheme now safely passed into law with the support of the Maori Party, climate change issues minister, Nick Smith, still faces hostile questions about it from Green and Labour MPs. They also want to know why the prime minister if not going to Copenhagen along with President Obama. Then there was a question about cane toads which caused uproar in the chamber.
