- Scoop Audio: Jeanette Fitzsimons announced today that she will be standing down in February, at the end of the first sitting week. She talked about her regrets and successes in a press conference with Metiria Turei and Russel Norman. She will be replaced in Parliament by Gareth Hughes, see photo below.
