An eerie
silence hung over Parliament’s grounds Friday lunchtime as
a throng of Greenpeace, Sea Shepherd and Greens supporters
mourned those whales consigned to death by international
whaling. But despite the apparent solemnity of the occasion,
a few placards and costumes showed the group willing to poke
fun at themselves.
