Hone Harawira held a press conference at Parliament today, following the announcement that the Maori Party's leadership had suspended him from the Parliamentary party, and prior to the hearing of a complaint against him by the party's chief whip.
Mr Harawira said he intend to stay with the party and run in his Te Tai Tokerau electorate at the next election.
He continued to assert his own opinions about what the Maori Party should be doing and how the complaints against him should proceed.
Parliament will resume at 2pm.
