INDONESIA: Legal & Human Rights Breaches (The 14 Year Old)

This report documents some of the legal and human rights abuses suffered by Schapelle Corby during the Bali trial. Please do read them.

I would like to point out that:

1. These were repeatedly endorsed by the Australian regime, which made many frequent public statements referring to the 'fairness' of the trial.

2. For Schapelle Corby, it was the merest start to the catalogue of human rights abuses she has endured, and which the government has consistently endorsed.

Using their own cables, the earlier reports have already shown that the Australian Federal Police and ministers withheld vital primary evidence from her, directly lied to Parliament, and began to brief clear smears to the media against her. The Expendable Project (www.expendable.tv) is publishing more about the bribery based system in Bali later in the week.

From the start, Schapelle Corby didn't play the judicial bribe game, because she was innocent. She refused to make the false confession they demanded. They crucified her, with the endorsement of Canberra. This is isn't a judicial system, it is Jurassic. Now with the 14 year old child it is back to bite again. It is back because it wasn't confronted by Howard’s government. Schapelle Corby was sacrificed at the altar of appeasement, and the hiding the airport criminality to preserve commercial interest and avoid international embarrassment.

SEVEN YEARS

Today was her SEVENTH ANIVERSARY in that hell. Seven years. She is severely and mentally ill. She is still being abused, yet the Australian government is still looking the other way.

Whilst they struggle with what the Indonesians are doing to that poor kid, they also should struggle with what they have helped to do to that poor tortured woman.

That the politicians are running from the revelations from The Expendable Project, from their own cables, is a stain on that nation. It is a scandal unreported in Australia.
