Parliament Resumes With More Maiden Speeches
After
Question Time today, MPs will return to the interrupted
debate in reply to the Speech from the Throne.
There are 10 hours and 34 minutes still remaining for the set piece debate which will end in the first confidence vote for the Government this year.
At 5pm new Labour MPs will give their maiden speeches (Dr David Clark, Andrew Little, Dr Megan Woods, and Rino Tirikatene).
It is then expected the Government will turn to its bills.
On top of the Order Paper is the interrupted third reading debate on the Road User Charges Bill.
